These are samples from a ten part "radio drama" we produced for Dr. Carpenter in 2011, as a comic relief segment of her radio show The Medical Conspiracy. The series puts a comedic light on the actions of a corrupt Arkansas court bought off by political interests within the medical establishment, and their efforts to destroy Dr. Carpenter's revolutionary therapy that makes deadly chemo and radiation obsolete. The entire series is based on actual events, with the names changed to ridiculous epithets. Quite a bit of work went into each episode. The episodes were scripted by Dr. Carpenter herself, plus a few last minute edits by Wendy and Randy; the dialogue was recorded in WAV format on a Tascam MKll interface; Randy "Alien Dog" Simmons not only did the recording and production, but also about 13 different voice characters in all, with 5 different "accents," (two of them female, with the help of pitch-shift.) Episodes were mixed and produced in Adobe Soundbooth.
The above video was one of several video compilations done for Dr. Carpenter and Lase Med Inc, in which VHS tapes were first converted to WMV or AVI format, then edited, scored, and converted to FLV format for publication. This particular video was edited down from six hours of saved VHS footage, the timeline of which spanned nearly two months.
Warning: The last few minutes of this video contains material which may not be suitable for some viewers, particulary graphic footage of a little known method of dead tissue removal called "maggot therapy." If the sight of flesh eating maggots makes you queasy then don't watch it.
This video tribute to Metallica's "Master of Puppets" was made as a response to the anti- Carpenter slander videos released in 2010, by a team of paid "bloggers" working for political interests in the State of Arkansas.
This video was made from a collection of short fractal animations rendered by the Electric Sheep fractal screensaver, set to a bass guitar "soundscape" experiment done by Randy in 2005.
